Karl Denson's Tiny Universe returns to the Snowmass Village outdoor stage tonight, in a kick-off to the free Thursday night series on Fanny Hill. The concert begins at 6:15 p.m., though prior to the show, the Double Diamond Band will be performing in Base Village, now open for its first summer of operation.
Double Diamond Band plays from 4-6 p.m. Concertgoers can park for free in the Base Village parking structure and walk up the hill or ride the Skittles lift to Fanny Hill afterward. The Skittles operates until 10 p.m. on Thursday; during the rest of the week it runs 11 a.m. until 9 p.m.
Also happening today: The Treehouse Kids' Adventure Center hosts an open house from 4-5:30 p.m., featuring Camp Aspen/Snowmss activities such as face painting, mountainboard demonstrations, a bounce house and more.
Fireworks will punctuate the night and will begin after Denson's final set closes.
Bars and restaurants on the mall and in the base will stay open late this evening – stop in and party with friends old and new.
